Nathan Sanderson
Tamahere & Matamata Country Clubs
Nathan joined the Sanderson Group in 2009 after completing a Bachelor of Construction, majoring in Property Development.
Nathan is Fraser Sanderson’s only son, so naturally working closely with his father over many years has developed an intuitive, wise and creative approach to new developments.
As Development Manager and head of acquisitions for the Group, Nathan leads the Sanderson Group’s developments from the initial land acquisitions right through to design, construction and finally the management of the Villages themselves.
Nathan is also currently a director and shareholder of his own Retirement Villages - Tamahere Country Club and Age Care, Matamata Country Club and Age Care and The Hill Pukekohe & Age Care Facility.
His greatest success to date is the unparalleled success of His Tamahere Country Club, a 252 villa retirement village in Tamahere, south of Hamilton. He has built a team around him on one very simple value, each business decision must be a win for everyone involved.
Nathan has a passion for developing and constructing new luxury Retirement Villages and Aged Care facilities. He often quotes, "If it’s not good enough for my own parents it’s not good enough for our Residents."
He has a proven track record delivering market leading projects on time and within budget, these include but are not limited to Bethlehem Country Club, Bethlehem Shores and Queenstown Country Club.
Nathan has a well-rounded skill set, and having grown up in the business is as comfortable operating the machinery as he is chairing a board meeting.
His strong problem solving and negotiation skills enable him to excel in all aspects of a development.
