Despite some challenging spring weather, we are thrilled to report we’re on track to complete Stage One by December! All our main services will soon be live including power, gas, water and our fibre network.

Our streets are taking shape with curbing having gone down, and footpaths and asphalt due to be laid in November. Landscaping is also getting underway and some lovely mature cherry trees, magnolia and kowhai have arrived on site. Many of these trees are already 4.5m-5m tall and will quickly establish themselves to create a beautiful environment for our residents to enjoy.

We now have up to 100 construction workers and contractors on site each day. Our show home is looking fantastic – the roof is on, the windows are in and the cladding is now going up. We are using a mix of cedar, Italian brick and local Hinuera stone quarried right here in the Waikato and the result will set the bar for what you can expect here at Tamahere Country Club.

Finally, building consent for our Clubhouse has been submitted to Waikato District Council. We hope to pour the concrete slab in November or December so it can cure over the Christmas break ready for framing to go up in the New Year. Exciting times are ahead!
