The prospect of having to downsize when you move into a retirement village doesn’t always appeal, so Omokoroa Country Estate is building six large new homes at the northern end of our village, with four already completed.

The demand for larger homes among retirees means two have already been taken. Two sites remain but these are likely to be the last brand new executive-sized homes we’ll build on this site.

They look quite different from the popular brick and tile villas we have built here in the past. These double story homes all feature three bedrooms, double garaging, two bathrooms, open-planning living, office nook, separate laundry and an enormous kitchen that’s an entertainer’s dream!

A ‘magic carpet’ lift sits beside the main stairwell to improve accessibility (or just transport your grocery bags upstairs). We also have one or two refurbished homes available, should the executive homes not suit your style.

Our village prides itself on our well-established gardens. Many of our trees were planted 30 years ago and everything’s maintained to an incredibly high standard. Landscaping these new homes has also been a priority and the exposed aggregate driveways and entranceways certainly make a great impression.

Prices for the remaining two new homes start at $825,000 and the floor plan is 196m² in size. New residents will be joining a friendly and active community who have a full range of amenities at their fingertips including a geothermally-heated pool and spa, library, gym, snooker tables, croquet and bowling greens, workshop, art and pottery rooms.
