Tamahere Country Club’s luxury retirement village, located on Tamahere Drive, will offer motorhome parking on site – a feature which Development Manager Nathan Sanderson promises will be “very impressive”.

Over 50,000 motorhomes are now in New Zealand – an extraordinary trend that has developed over the past two decades. Our newest purchasers, William and Colleen McGrory, are keen motorhome enthusiasts and have told us that Waikato is a bit lean in terms of dump stations. They also pointed out that power and water are important but often overlooked when designing motorhome parking. So, we have done our research, taken their advice and will design our parking area with these facilities on site!

“Space to park a boat is also very important to our future residents so provision will be made for boats alongside motorhomes as well,” Nathan says.

Tamahere Country Club will open in January 2020 and will eventually comprise 93 detached luxury country villas ranging from 2 to 3+ bedrooms with single or double garages.

The Clubhouse, due to be completed in December 2020, will feature a movie theatre, library, café, snooker room, residents’ bar and much more.

“We expect the first residents to move in by February and we’re looking forward to delivering spacious, high-quality new homes,” Nathan says.

“Being a registered retirement village, we provide an enormous amount of security under the Retirement Villages Act and having the full continuum of care gives people peace of mind should life throw you a curve ball.”
