Progress on Bethlehem Shore’s brand new clubhouse – believed to be the largest in New Zealand – is ticking along nicely, with our eye-catching clock tower now operational.
This clock is a whopping 1.2m in diameter and is beautifully framed by South Island schist stone. It sets the scene nicely for this magnificent facility which we plan to open in late April, followed by our new swimming pool and activities area later this year.
Our village residents have been extremely patient over the past few years, making do with temporary premises, and we’re confident the wait will be worth it.
The total floor area is 3800m² (almost one acre) and is cathedral-like in its scale and grandeur. A 9m-high atrium runs through the middle of the building and oak timber has been used extensively on the floors and ceilings to create a feeling of warmth.
