Welcome to the Spring Edition of Bethlehem Shores Highlights. Daylight savings is here, the weather is getting warmer and we’re starting to see lots of Spring growth. We are sure you will agree that growth in the gardens around Bethlehem Shores are a testament to the outstanding efforts Jo and his gardening team have invested into landscaping throughout the village. Construction is continuing at a rapid rate with stage one is nearing completion. We currently have an excess of 110 homes occupied and about 20 under construction and two available for sale.

Construction of the Club house continues
It is with much anticipation and excitement we all watch the progress of the Club house and Health Spa. There has been a staggering 800m3 of concrete poured bringing progress of the concrete slab close to half way. Once 1600m3 is poured it will set the platform for the first delivery of 140 tonne of steel.  Under the leadership of Glenn Farac the Sanderson Group Construction Manager, a team of 12 full time builders are making impressive progress. It is anticipated that more builders will join the team as the building takes shape. Glenn is working toward an open day where residents will be escorted on site to gain an understanding of progress. This opportunity has already been welcomed by many with much anticipation. The sheer magnitude of the clubhouse will become very apparent, adding much appreciation of the construction process involved. Challenging weather conditions have posed many difficulties, so it is even more impressive to view what has already been achieved.

Introducing our Development Manager – Nathan Sanderson
Nathan plays an integral role within Sanderson Group. Not only is he Fraser’s son but he is also heavily involved within the operations of Sanderson Group with a major focus on development. Overseeing development of five Sanderson Group villages keeps him extremely busy and enables him to have an in-depth knowledge of the day to day operations of the village. Nathan has completed a Bachelor of Construction majoring in Property Development and started working alongside Fraser in 2009, although many residents may argue Nathan has been working alongside Fraser since he was a baby when he used to ‘help’ Fraser build Omokoroa Country Estate. Outside of work Nathan and his wife Natasha both have a love of travelling, socialising with friends and family and spending as much time as possible at their lake property at Ohakuri.  One of Nathan’s greatest achievements is becoming a qualified helicopter pilot, the photo above is taking Fraser on his first flight.
